How does the AI diagnosis work?
Record a sound from your vehicle (engine noise, squeaking brakes, etc.) or take a photo, and our AI will analyze it to identify potential issues and provide repair recommendations.
What OBD-II adapters are compatible?
Mechanic Kiosk works with most Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) OBD-II adapters including:
- Vgate iCar Pro (Recommended)
- Veepeak OBDCheck
- OBDLink MX+
- Most ELM327 compatible adapters
Why can't I connect to my OBD-II adapter?
Try these troubleshooting steps:
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone
- Make sure the adapter is plugged into your vehicle's OBD port
- Turn the vehicle ignition to ON (not just accessory)
- On Android, enable Location services (required for Bluetooth scanning)
- Try moving closer to the adapter
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can manage your subscription through your device's app store:
- iOS: Settings > Your Name > Subscriptions > Mechanic Kiosk
- Android: Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions
