Welcome to Mechanic Kiosk. By downloading, installing, or using our application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Mechanic Kiosk, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the app.
2. Description of Service
Mechanic Kiosk is an AI-powered vehicle diagnostic application that provides:
- Audio analysis of vehicle sounds for potential issue identification
- Photo analysis for visual vehicle inspection
- OBD-II diagnostic code reading (with compatible adapter)
- AI-generated repair recommendations and cost estimates
Important Disclaimer: Mechanic Kiosk provides informational guidance only and is not a substitute for professional mechanical inspection. Always consult a qualified mechanic for vehicle repairs. We are not responsible for any damages resulting from reliance on our diagnostic suggestions.
3. Subscription Terms
Auto-Renewable Subscriptions
Mechanic Kiosk offers the following auto-renewable subscription options:
- Premium Monthly: $4.99 per month
- Pro Annual: $39.99 per year
Subscription Details
- Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account (iOS) or Google Play account (Android) at confirmation of purchase
- Subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
- You can manage and cancel your subscriptions at any time in your App Store settings (iOS) or Google Play subscription settings (Android)
- Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription
Free Tier
Free users receive 2 AI diagnoses per month. Premium subscribers receive unlimited diagnoses.
4. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate vehicle information
- Use the app only for lawful purposes
- Not attempt to reverse engineer or modify the app
- Not use the app while operating a vehicle
- Follow all safety precautions when recording audio or taking photos near vehicles
5. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of Mechanic Kiosk are owned by Mechanic Kiosk and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mechanic Kiosk shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Vehicle damage resulting from following diagnostic suggestions
- Personal injury from improper vehicle repair
- Financial losses from repair decisions based on app recommendations
- Data loss or service interruptions
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of diagnostic results. AI analysis is probabilistic and may not identify all vehicle issues.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the app at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or our business.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms in the app and updating the "Last Updated" date.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
